Located in northeastern Indiana near the town of Rome City, in a county of more than 110 public lakes, and within 15 minutes of the Amish town of Shipshewana! Our guests often find themselves visiting Shipshewana to learn more about the Amish lifestyle, shop the quaint stores that take you back in time, visiting the famous flea market, or attending the auction.
Nestled on a country road, the location of our Bunkhouse offers peace and serenity from the noises of a busy life. No trains, sirens or highway traffic will keep you awake. The soft sounds of crickets often put you to sleep and you'll wake to the birds chirping.
Our inviting Cabin, the “Bunkhouse” is a 500 sq. ft. lake cottage with a view of Mirror Lake. It's fully furnished with touches from the past. Bringing a calm serenity to your stay.
Neighboring farms, fields, Amish homes and small home business’ make up a large portion of Shipshewana and northern Indiana’s small town beauty. When you're ready to relax for the night watch a gorgeous sunset followed by an impressive view of the stars.
Enjoy the few evening hours to relax from your day full of shopping, sight-seeing or working away from home. Relax on the pier, throw in a fishing line, or sit back & enjoy a beautiful sunset. Take a “Gator” ride back to the woods to walk on mowed trails, maybe you’ll see some deer, Sand Hill Cranes or a Blue Heron.
